Changes & Implementation Progress

This week, I made some progress in a few different areas.

One was asset collection – while I don’t have much to show here, I collected a few different style samples in both watercolour and other mediums, such as pencil. These samples will be used to test out the algorithm and make improvements to it.

I also worked on fixing up my Jitter algorithm for use with multiple layers. This produced some pretty cool results, and created more variation in the positions. I’m also working on implementing the multi-layer texture. I have a few questions about how this should be implemented, so I’m currently working on it in a way that leaves my options open.

My next steps, once I’ve gotten the algorithm working, will be to create some bounding boxes and work on applying multiple textures to model at the same time. This will require some coding work and some investigation into how this might be successfully done.
